  • Shuffleboard Evening - Ascot Brewery Thursday 15 May 2025 19:30 Disruption is Brewing Tap Room, Camberley

    A great opportunity to enjoy excellent beers and take part (if you fancy it), in informal shuffleboard matches.

  • Branch Club of the Year 2025 presentation Saturday 24 May 2025 Woking Railway Athletic Club, Woking

    Please join your branch chairman Mick Bell at the Woking Railway Athletic Club.
    For some great beer and a presentation of a certificate to our branch Club of the Year.
    The presentation will be sometime in the afternoon.

  • Visit to Woodfest at Brentford Musical Museum Friday 30 May 2025 11:20

    Join Ian Johnson on the 11:22 train from Woking to Kew Bridge (change at Clapham Junction), to visit Woodfest https://www.spbw.beer/events/
    Afterwards we will probably visit a few pubs in Brentford.

  • Thameside Tootle to Putney Wednesday 4 June 2025

    Join Les Murrell for another relaxing Thameside Tootle, this time heading west to Putney.

    Meet in the The Harp in Charing X at 11am or at The Embankment, to take the 11.45 Uber Boat to Putney Bridge arriving 12.32.
    We will visit The Bricklayers Arms and The Dukes Head (with its Grade 2 1864 historic interior) in Putney before making our way back to the Embankment, stopping off on route at The Cats Back in Wandsworth Riverside Quarter and finishing at the the Battersea Brewery Taproom.
    There are lots of Uber Boats back from Battersea Power Station between 5pm and 7pm.

    Option to buy the Advance Hop On, Hop Off Day Ticket for £21.15 (£4.25 cheaper if bought online 7 days in advance) or a single ticket from Embankment to Putney for £10.80 (33% off standard fares with paper Travelcard ticket) and use public transport to pubs on the way back.

  • Beer & Burger night at the Antelope, Surbiton Monday 16 June 2025 19:00

    Join Dave Taylor at the Antelope in Surbiton for a Beer & Burger night.

    We'll meet at the Antelope at 7pm: https://whatpub.com/pubs/KIN/6896/antelope-surbiton which is a 0.4 walk from the station.
    There should also be a chance to visit the Coronation Hall: https://whatpub.com/pubs/KIN/6941/coronation-hall-surbiton, before boarding trains home.

    Join Ian Johnson for a visit to the popular Crown in Horsell village and sample the delights from the local Thurston's Brewery.

  • Harvey's Brewery Trip Saturday 21 June 2025 11:00

    Join Ian Johnson for a trip to Harvey's brewery in Lewes, where we are due at 11am.
    Afterwards there will be the opportunity to visit the Lewes beer festival (tickets required), or visit the local pubs.
    Spaces are limited, so booking is essential - please email ku.gro.armac.bhs@namriahceciv to book your place.

  • Midsummer Walk Wednesday 25 June 2025

    For our annual midsummer walk this year, we will be visiting a community-owned village local and a local brewery tap. The walk will be approximately 5 miles in total.

    Meeting at Farnham Station at 6pm we will walk along the North Downs Way to Barley Mow, at The Sands arriving at approx 7.15pm.

    There will be time to eat for those who wish to before departing at 8.45pm for a further 1.5 miles to the Hogs Back Brewery Tap Room arriving about 9.20pm.

    You can then leave at either 10pm or 10.30pm for a final 0.5 mile walk to Tongham for bus no 20 to Aldershot or Guildford at 10.15pm or 10.45pm.

    From Guildford Friary bus station take the 12:45pm, 53 bus (Stand 7). Example buses back leave at 16:30 or 17:30.

  • Southampton Pub Tour Saturday 9 August 2025 12:00

    Join Norman Clinnick (Regional Director CAMRA South Central) on a tour of some the best pubs in Southampton.

    Arrive Southampton Central Station just before 12 noon then its a 10 minute bus ride to the Park Inn (bus numbers 3,17,18,19 alighting at Shirley Precinct).

    After 2 hours at the Park Inn, we head back to the station, stopping at The Fremantle Inn, The Wellington, The Witches Brew, The Waterloo Arms and Key and Anchor.

    After the Key and Anchor it's a 10 minute walk back to the station.

    Norman will enjoy escorting you around the pubs and introduce you to the landlords.

    Meet at the Mead Row (former Leathern Bottle) at 6.30pm

    Walk to the Three Lions for 7.30pm and finally the Cricketers from 8.30pm.

  • Working social at the Guildford Cricket Club beer festival Saturday 20 September 2025 11:00

    Join Mark Davies for a working social at The Guildford Cricket Club beer festival.
    Help serve during the Noon to 4pm session, then socialise until 6pm.
    CAMRA Members only please.

  • Farnham Beerex Thursday 23 – Saturday 25 April 2026 Farnham Maltings, Farnham

    Tickets for the 48th Farnham Beerex will be available later in the year and can be bought at https://www.farnhambeerex.org.uk/booking. The minimum age for entry is 18 years.

    Session times (tbc); in 2025 they were:

    • Thursday, Friday, Saturday evening: 6.00pm - 11.00pm
    • Friday lunchtime: 11.00am - 3.00pm
    • Saturday lunchtime: 11.00am - 3.30pm
