See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
The pub reopened on 19th September 2020, following closure at the start of the year, before the Covid-19 pandemic broke. A planning application to convert the pub into a nursery was submitted to the local Council in 2019 but subsequently withdrawn.
This bright and airy pub, decorated in two-tone grey, is on the main road through Weybourne and consists of a single bar. Originally multi-roomed, these have now all been knocked into one, although the character of separate areas remains to a certain extent. At one end the pub has comfortably sofas, whist at the other, there is a more boisterous feel, with a focus on sport, with Sky TV as well as more traditional games such as pool and darts, with the pub hosting several teams. There is a covered patio, which also has TV screens, showing sport. Food-wise, Tuesday evening there is a burger and a pint offer, Wednesday it's pizza and a pint and a roast is served on Sunday. A Golden Years Lunch Club, with a reduced price 2 or 3 course menu, runs on Monday and Wednesday.
The single real ale is Doom Bar and it is worth noting that there is a significant mark up on the price of half pints.
