Half MoonHigh Street
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Single bar free house situated on the High Street. Traditionally decorated, but has a modern airy feel, with stripped back bare brick-faced wall, brushed wooden tables and a curved, oak topped bar. Pictures of old Ripley adorn the wall, with one from the turn of the century, depicting the pub when it was of only 3 pubs owned by the long defunct Reffells Brewery. There is a small courtyard to the rear that can be used by smokers. Eight rooms are available for B&B, though breakfast is for guests only. Fare is pub classics.
