This Victorian Railway Hotel is directly opposite the railway station and convenient for returning commuters. It reopened in November 2016 after a £3m refurbishment and is now owned by the Upham Group and, after a further refurbishment, now branded as a Harper's Steakhouse.

Breakfast is available until 5.00pm (except Sunday until 11am) Brunch is available from 11.00 until 2.00pm The main menu is available all day until 9.00pm
