Friendly local with an attractive frontage, its view marred slightly by a new council-run toilet block some metres away. A traditional, unpretentious pub showing all live sports and with regular live music events, including open mic nights. There is no car park but plenty of street (or supermarket) parking is available nearby. The notable food offering is home-made steak and ale pie.
