17th century pub which remains a community local in the heart of the village. You'll even find a tin of dog biscuits on the bar. The single bar, serves 3 separate rooms, with one set out for more formal dining, though one can eat throughout the pub. Special food nights throughout the week: Tuesday - exotic burger night, Wednesday - steak night, Thursday - Pie & Pint night. Quiz night is Sunday. An occasional guest beer from the Greene King portfolio supplements the 2 regular beers. The pub boasts a very large, enclosed garden with slides for children. A very convivial atmosphere.
