COVID restrictions are being lifted. This edition recognises how pubs have been serving us over the last two years. Now we need to get back to our pubs to make sure they have a future.

Bars were closed and we were living in very strange days. However many of the pubs in the branch area and elsewhere in Surrey were still serving the community. We still had important campaigning information to impart. Good beer was still available, even if it had to be consumed at home and socialising meant sitting in front of a computer screen. Brian worked tirelessly on producing an edition of News and Ale that was only ever going to be published online. With the situation changing daily this edition was issued a few times, here is the fourth and final version.
